The facility was okay, but the management were not good, nice, or trustworthy people. Beware of the staff if you decide to stay. I have a son on the autism spectrum. It is very difficult emotionally for him when he loses something. Unfortunately, he accidentally left behind his 3ds game case with about 30 games in it. We always try to do a thorough check and had looked under the beds and in the corners and drawers, however, we believe it may have slipped between the mastress and head board as my son thought he heard something fall in the night. When we realized his games were missing....several hours after our departure and already far away into Arizona...we were driving across country to visit family, I called the hotel to let them know. That was the only time a staff member, a young woman who,is not part of tbe management's family, was understanding and helpful. I relayed exactly what and where we thought had occurred. I gave my number and told her I would check back. When my boyfriend called the next day, he spoke with the manager who was evasive and acted as though we were bothering him and said he couldn't possibly check at that point. I even offered a reward and we stressed how difficult it is for my son to lose his things. No one ever got back to us and when we called again to check, we were put off and treated very rudely. I am beyond angry and disgusted. The manager lives onsite and had young children. While I hate accusing people, I would not be surprised at all if his children are now playing the games my son lost. Another unsettling incident happened while we were there too. We were staying at the hotel on the 4th of July. My son has difficulty with loud sounds and crowds. So, I explored the rear upper balcony of the hotel trying to see if we could get somewhat of a view from there. While over there, I heard a couple fighting loudly.

    Good

The room was clean, with plenty of pillows, and towels. The A/C worked great, keeping the room nice and cold. Plenty of hot water! Location is good (close to the Historic District, minus the traffic) and easy to get to. CVS and Walmart are nearby. Nice and quiet, no sounds of traffic were heard. Didn't really partake of the free breakfast, but the room was clean and everyone else seemed to be enjoying it.

The room refrigerator didn't work and the deadbolt to the room didn't lock (I was downstairs). The WiFi was spotty and slow. The A/C could get quite noisy. Finally had to turn off, but I was getting ready to check out so it was no problem. Be aware, there is currently road construction so at this location, so AM/PM traffic may be troublesome.

I loved the front desk staff were very nice and helpful. I was extremely impressed with their customer service skills.

When I first pulled into the parking lot there was a homeless gentleman sleeping next one of the rooms. As a single white female staying in a hotel. That made me feel very uncomfortable. The hotel room was comfortable, it just kind of seemed out of date and old. Like the lamp shades were broken, walls needed some new paint. If they just did a few things like that then I think it would be much nicer, more appealing to the eyes.

A no-frills, generally clean, quiet room. The outdoor pool and pool area was nice. It was a trouble-free transaction.

Air Conditioner was a little stinky at first. WiFi was inconsistent. Not a new facility so some things were a little wonky, but nothing terrible. I think the price I got was competitive.

the beds were ok and the room was clean.

waited 30 minutes to get in room, wi fi did not work properly. the refrigerator did not work properly. i could not check out the next morning on the 24th, told them it was unexpected and needed to go home. we live 900 miles from santa fe, good a eartier appt for business and left immediately, no one at desk could refund my money unable to have authority, was not concerned said it was policy and could not call anyone higher up to find out what to do, this was on friday the 24th. we turned in keys and left at 8:45, i gave them my cell number and they were going to call and let me know the results, no call. i will never reccommend days inn or stay at one again.

Staff were very helpful, as we had arrived early. Room was comfy and very clean. Breakfast was good quality, please take the short walk up the road to Dr Field goods !!! The food and local craft beers were amazing. You would need to drive into central Santa Fe, and the roadworks on the main road slow you down, but theres plenty to see in the Old City.

    Slightly quieter!

The staff, at least the manager, appeared to be trying.

The AC didn't work, took them a couple hours to figure out the problem and fix it. Bathroom light did not work (tiny room, pitch black without light.) Three requests over two hours for fix, finally told me there was only one maintenance man onsite and he was doing the best he could (I would have been more understanding if they'd explained that up front.) Manager (I think) changed the bulb, and it worked for an hour or so and then didn't. It felt as though we were pains in the neck requesting working AC and lighting, although they were nice, they are trying to work with substandard facilities. Pool gate was broken. For the price you expect aging room, worn carpets, less-than-great part of town, minimal or no landscaping, and so on, but the lights really ought to work (and so should the AC, given the area summer climate!) Sorry, but can't recommend until they upgrade the basic facility.
